The following is a navigable list of ancestors. I have also produced a simple tree-like version with just the names and
longevities.
The format of each entry on this list is nnn, xxx , b. - (c. - ), d. -
(b. - ), occupations, where
- nnn is a unique ancestor identifier
- xxx is the full name (linked to a biography if highlighted)
- b. is birth date and location. For some of the older records this date
comes from third party research. Where it is D/M/Y then I suspect that
it should be a Christening date. Where I have been unable to verify the
source of a birth date then it is shown
in italics. ( I
am in the process of doing this)
- c. is christening date and location
- d. is death date and location. Where the date is only a year and the
location is a registration district then the evidence is taken from an
index. However, this information is only shown where there is a very
strong candidate.
- b. is burial date and location
For ancestors the details are to be found on this page, though there is also
a summary
of
the descendants of John KIRBY (1720 -), the oldest KIRBY ancestor
identified to date. This only shows details for deceased individuals, to
preserve the privacy of living persons.
